Those who have a full practicing or restricted practising membership and licence with SCOT are required to participate in the Continuing Competency Program (CCP). The CPP uses a formalized process to substantiate that SCOT members are meeting essential competencies and engaging in professional development.
Complete and submit their Annual Learning Plan/Professional Development Plan and Learning Outcomes from the previous fiscal year to SCOT by February 15th.
Create and submit their Annual Learning Plan/Professional Development Plan for the upcoming membership year by February 15th.
Retain and maintain accurate records of their Annual Learning Plans/Professional Development Plans and Learning Outcomes and associated learning activities for 10 years.
Participate in the audit process if they are selected.
